class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is our Code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rule #1 \u2014 Protect the Player.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every decision begins and ends with one question:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Is this what&#8217;s best for my player?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not my ego.<br>Not my expectations.<br>Not a club logo.<br>Not social media.<br>Not someone else&#8217;s opinion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The player comes first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rule #2 \u2014 Parents Are the Constant.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coaches will change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Teams will change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Clubs will change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Directors will change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Leagues will change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rules will change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Friends will come and go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parents remain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the first pair of cleats to the final youth match, no one has a greater responsibility\u2014or opportunity\u2014to shape a player&#8217;s journey than their family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lead wisely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rule #3 \u2014 We Build Cases, Not Rumors.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sideline gossip doesn&#8217;t develop players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Facts do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We don&#8217;t assume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We don&#8217;t speculate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We ask questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We seek truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We research before forming opinions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We build cases\u2014not rumors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rule #4 \u2014 Run Your Own Race.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No two soccer journeys are identical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One player peaks at twelve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another at seventeen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One club may be life-changing for one family and completely wrong for another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both can be true.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We refuse to measure our player&#8217;s value by another player&#8217;s roster spot, scholarship offer, college commitment, social media highlights, or highlight reel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Comparison steals joy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Growth builds confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rule #5 \u2014 Respect the Badge.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coaches deserve respect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Referees deserve respect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Club leaders deserve respect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Volunteers deserve respect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Respect doesn&#8217;t mean blind agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It means difficult conversations can still be conducted with humility, honesty, and integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rule #6 \u2014 Development Should Never Be a Mystery.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If we&#8217;re trusting someone with our child&#8217;s development, we should understand the plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A coach should be able to communicate:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 What the player does well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 What needs improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 What the next step looks like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Feedback isn&#8217;t criticism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s one of the greatest gifts a coach can give a family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rule #7 \u2014 Invest With Purpose.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every dollar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every private lesson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every hotel room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every showcase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every hour in the car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every sacrifice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It should serve a purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We don&#8217;t chase logos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We pursue development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rule #8 \u2014 Leave the Jersey Better Than You Found It.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whether you&#8217;re a team manager&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A volunteer&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A parent on the sidelines&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Or simply the person who welcomes the new family&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Leave your club, your team, and your soccer community better than you found it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Legacy isn&#8217;t built by titles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s built through service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rule #9 \u2014 Every Family Has a Seat at the Table.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whether your child plays recreation&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">State League&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">National League&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ECNL&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GA&#8230;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DPL&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Character matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Relationships matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The player you are raising matters far more than the player rankings you&#8217;re chasing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Play the long game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rule #11 \u2014 Strengthen the Triangle.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the heart of every successful soccer journey is a relationship built on trust between three people:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Player.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Parent.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Coach.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each has a different role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Players<\/strong> bring effort, coachability, resilience, and a willingness to learn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Parents<\/strong> provide guidance, stability, perspective, and the responsibility of choosing environments that support their child&#8217;s growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Coaches<\/strong> provide instruction, honest feedback, leadership, and a plan for development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When each person understands and embraces their role, trust grows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When trust grows, communication improves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When communication improves, players thrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Clubs play an important role by creating a culture that supports these relationships through clear expectations, transparency, and strong leadership\u2014but the strongest programs are built on strong triangles, one player at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Protect the triangle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everything else grows from there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rule #12 \u2014 Family Over Everything.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One day&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The uniforms will no longer fit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The trophies will gather dust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The recruiting calls will end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cleats will be put away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The last whistle will blow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When that day comes, your child won&#8217;t remember every score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They&#8217;ll remember how you made them feel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Protect the
